We sell engineering work - apps, games and platforms - to founders and product teams. That means the conversation is technical and consultative, not a script. This is a first sales role for someone who is genuinely curious about what clients are trying to build.
What you'll do
- Research and build lists of companies that fit the kind of work we do.
- Write outreach that sounds like a person, not a template.
- Qualify inbound enquiries from the site and book them in for a call.
- Sit in on discovery calls, take the notes and follow up on the actions.
- Keep the CRM honest - a pipeline nobody trusts is worse than none.
What we're looking for
- Clear, direct written English - most first contact is in writing.
- Comfortable being told no, often, without taking it personally.
- Enough technical curiosity to ask a sensible follow-up question about a product.
- Organised: you will juggle a lot of half-finished conversations.
- Any degree, or a good reason you do not have one.
Nice to have
- Any internship or part-time experience in sales, support or customer success.
- Familiarity with a CRM such as HubSpot or Zoho.
- You have sold something - anything - and can tell us what you learned.
How we hire
- A short intro call to talk through your background.
- A practical exercise close to the real work - timeboxed, no trick questions.
- A conversation with the team you would join.
