Privacy Policy — India
This notice supplements our main privacy policy with the rights and disclosures that apply specifically to India. Where the two differ, this notice prevails for you.

This is a supplement, not a replacement. Read it alongside our main privacy policy, which explains what data we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it. Everything there applies to you unless this notice says otherwise.
01Which law applies to you
If you are located in India, our processing of your personal data is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with its rules.
For the purposes of that legislation, Casheeno of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India acts as the Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in our main policy.
02Your rights in India
Subject to the conditions and exemptions in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with its rules, you have the right to:
- obtain a summary of the personal data processed and the processing activities
- obtain the identities of other Data Fiduciaries with whom your data has been shared
- correction, completion, updating and erasure of your personal data
- nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
- a readily available means of grievance redressal
To exercise any of these, write to support@casheeno.com from the address registered to your account, or use our account deletion page. We do not charge for this, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to verify your identity first, so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.
03Children in India
The minimum age at which a person can consent to the processing of their personal data in India is 18. Below that age, consent must be given or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
Our Services are not directed to children below that age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data or serve them personalised advertising. Prize draws are restricted to entrants aged 18 or over.
04Sending your data outside India
We are established in India and use service providers in several countries. When your personal data leaves India, we rely on transfers permitted under section 16 of the DPDP Act, other than to any territory restricted by the Central Government.

05Children under 18
Under the DPDP Act, anyone below 18 years of age is a child. Before processing a child's personal data we are required to obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we must not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. We therefore do not serve personalised advertising to any user we identify as being under 18 in India, and prize draws remain restricted to entrants aged 18 or over.
06Consent and notice
Where we rely on your consent, we give notice in plain language of the personal data to be processed and the purpose, and you may withdraw consent at any time with the same ease with which it was given.
07Grievance redressal
Write to support@casheeno.com marking your message “DPDP Grievance”. We will respond within the period prescribed under the Act. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
8Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at support@casheeno.com so that we have the chance to put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India at any time: https://www.meity.gov.in.
